Welcome to my Linear Functions web page.  This is designed for teachers to use in their classroom.  Please take as much or as little as you need and feel free to make up new things that you believe to be better.  This project can be as easy or as difficult as you make it.

The purpose of the project is to allow students to research data from the Internet, Newsbank, surveys, or other reference materials and to perform various computations using computers and calculators.  I try and make this as real world as possible and encouraging students to gather their data.  At the end of the project, students must turn in a 5 page word processed report and they must also give a 5 minute presentation to the class.
