Create your own quadratic function. Graph it on a full sheet of graph paper. Choose 3 x values and for each one, find the equation of the line tangent to your curve at that point and graph the line on the same axis as your quadratic function. Below the graphs, set up a second graph with x values aligned with the top graph's x values. Graph the derivative of you function on the bottom graph. See link for an example.
Using a Word document, explain the concepts covered in these lessons. Include diagrams, formulas, definitions and examples. Include a self evaluation of your understanding of the material, achieving the objectives and your confidence level at this point.
