• You will take a pre-test about California Missions.  Don't worry it's not for a grade!
• You will choose a mission.
• You will research that mission using the information page I give you, the internet, library materials, text book,  and any outside source available. 
• You will organize your information and create a "travel brochure" in the computer lab using your research information.

 

You will follow the directions on this web page and complete all activities.  You will prepare a "travel brochure" and make a presentation to the class.  You will be able to tell us 

• what a mission is
• who founded the mission 
• when it was founded
• who the mission was named after
• where it is located in California
• why and/or how it was important to the settlement of California
• important and interesting information about your  mission then and now
