Introduction
How do you teach third graders an easy, organized way to do their first research project? Just visit this website to find out a step-by-step way to show your students how to produce a simple, but complete, wild animal report. This lesson plan will take you through the research and note-taking, the title page, three paragraphs of a written rough draft, the edited version of their report, and the bibliography. It even includes a simple "word" poem which highlights exciting information from their animal report.
