Getting
Started
Get
an outline map from your teacher. The 6 Native American culture areas
are shown. Write everything you know about these cultures in their
place on the map. Soon you will know
much more.
Now,
read some of the stories and legends passed down from generation to generation.
There is a legend from each of the 6 culture areas.
Next,
look at the Native American culture areas and decide with your teacher
which of the 6 culture areas you will research.
Then
meet with the other students who have chosen the same culture area and
begin
your research.
