Getting
Started
Follow all instructions provided in the activities.
Add color, be creative and have fun.
Each assignment is due when completed and must be checked before you
continue.
The project, as a whole, is due at the end of the session. Each
extra credit is available
for accelerated credit. This assignment is graded on a 4 - 1
basis and is worth one credit
towards English.
All pictures used will be returned as soon as possible.
Activities
Step
1
MAJOR FACTS:
This should be a creative page describing
you physically. The page should
include your full name, date of birth,
place of birth, parents or guardians.
You should also include you favorites;
color, book, movie, music, food, place,
anything else that is important to you.
Creatively organize your information
on a rough copy and then on the computer.
Turn in for review once
completed.
Step
2
VISUAL FACTS:
This page will include real pictures
and or art of yourself and friends and
family. These should show the true you.
Place them in chronological order
with descriptions and why they are important.
You should have at least 4 - 5
pictures, enough to show the whole person
(think: happy, sad, small,
graduating, etc.). Turn in for review
once completed.

Step
3
FOCAL STORIES:
One page about you, written or told to
you by two different people. One
may be a friend, the other a relative
or an adult that has known you for
four or more years (exceptions can can
be made, discuss alternatives
with your teacher or click girl).
This may be submitted in it's original form.
Turn in for review once completed. You
may want to begin with this
assignment do to the fact that
you are not personally in control of these
pages. Remind those you ask that
this assignment is due soon.

CHRONOLOGY:
Part One -
Written self history. Three to five pages of your life as you
remember it.
Include stories, examples, explanations, anything that
describes you and
your life. You need to get feed back from two people
who have been around
you for five years (refer to focal stories for
exceptions).
Two interviews should appear in your rough draft file. Ask
these people pertinent
information regarding your growth and style.
Include this information
in your write up. Once completed, turn in for
review.
Part Two
- Drawn Chronology. A time line, full of color and animation,
that shows your
life to date. Begin with when you were born and hit on
every major event
until today. May be completed on the computer or
manually.
Turn in for review once completed.
Cumulating
Project:
FINAL PROJECT:
Your final
project should include all rough drafts (in a separate file), a cover,
a table
of content, all
typed pages, minor creativity, organization and representation of each
assignment.
These pages should have been checked for punctuation, spelling,
grammar, sentence
structure and paragraph structure. They will all be graded using
the 4 - 1 basis.
Any not passing will be redone.
Put all together
in an organized fashion. This project will be graded as a whole
by the 4 - 1 basis.
4
= Exemplary, 3 = Proficient, 2 = Basic, and 1= Needs Improvement.
