This lesson will be used for students missing the measurement unit at the beginning of the quarter. Daylor High School has an open enrollment program and we continually have new students entering our classes through the session. Subject: Construction Technology/Math C This lesson addresses the California State Standard for: Industrial and Technology
Education
1. The student will read
a ruler to within 1/16 of an inch with 100% accuracy
Introductory Activity Students will take a pre-test
on reading a rule.
Enabling
Activities
Students will take a post-test on reading a rule. Students performing below 100 percent on this test will be given individualized instruction until they have mastered reading a rule 100 percent. Throughout the quarter, students will be building projects which will build and reinforce their measuring skills for both accuracy and speed.
