Teacher's Corner
Instructional Objectives: 
Students will create a multi-media presentation featuring the biography and style of a visual
artist. Students will improve their knowledge of Art terms, practice documenting Internet and
Library resources and participate in the evaluation process of the project. 
                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                             
Student Activities 
Introductory Activity (2 days) 
                                    Students will take an Internet field trip to several museums!  
                                    Students will take a online quiz to test their prior knowledge of art terms.

                                    Students will identify  basic elements of design using the Internet resources.  
                                    WebMuseum 
                                    Enabling Activities (10 days) 
                                    Students will choose an artist whose work they want to know more about and gather
                                    information using Internet sites and books from the library. 
                                    As students gather information they  will use the Writing Process.
                                    Students will prepare a Slideshow, Hyperstudio Stack or Powerpoint Presentation. 

                                    Culminating Activity (2 days) 
                                    Students present final multi-media project to peers. 
                                    Complete self and peer evaluations  
                                    Take a post-test
