Our daily lives revolve around using the products and/or services of many corporations. But how much do we really know about the companies that profit billions of dollars from our consumer spending. In fact many of you will become employees of these corporations. The more you know about a company the more you will benefit from the products and/or services it provides.
Your Mission
The project that you are going to create will reveal many facts about your chosen corporation. You will use this web site to assist you in gathering the information you need to complete the project. At the conclusion of this lesson, you will have:
- researched a corporation of your choice using the internet and other sources
- prepared a buy calculation for a stock purchase
- calulated the profit/loss on the sale of a stock purchase
- researched marketing/advertising strategies
- determined career choices within a corporation
