This is a series of 5 lessons to introduce students to the variety of life in the rainforest. Students will research minimum of 3 different animals from the tropical rainforest. They will be able to identify one physical characteristic that helps each animal survive in this environment. There are virtual rainforest tours that students will take to research animal and plant life. Subject: Life Science Grade 3 Science: Focus on Life Sciences

Small groups will view portions of the virtual tour, take notes and complete homework assignments. Students will read hand out information on several different animals from different continents. Culminating Activity Students will take a multiple choice post test. Students will decide on one animal to research in depth.
