Introduction
In this lesson, students are introduced to alliterative books (Animalia, Dinorella, and Four Famished Foxes and Fosdyke) and then are asked to describe the alliterative patterns.  Ultimately students will work in pairs to practice researching alliterative words and writing alliterative sentences.  Students will then work collaboratively to produce a class book of teacher alliterations using the beginning sounds of staff's and teachers' last names.  The final product will include the sentences illustrated with both photographs and art work.
