This will be an activity that will ask the student to summerize the events
of World War I by preparing an illusstrated story book for ten year olds
who are reading at the fifth grade level.

Student Activities
I Each group will prepare
a twenty minute presentation on the research methods which they used to
complete the project . Each presentation
must have a visual and audio element that will keep the class interested.
Each membor of the group must participate in the presentation so that each
role is clearly defined.
The completed story book will then be presented to the targeted fith grade
class.
Introductory

Each co-operative group will be selected using a random sleection process
Each group will consist of four students
Each group needs a recorder, researcher, reporter, and monitor
These tasks will be rotated on a per-task basis, so by the time the project
is completed each member will have served in each role.
This project will be completed in a six week period.
